Features and benefits

  • Dust free mixing of caustic soda for a better working environment
  • Field proven air driven pump for reliable operation
  • Meets all relevant HSE requirements minimises risks related to hazardous chemicals

Bags are cut manually within a closed chamber, thus eliminating dust exposure for involved personnel. Powder is emptied into a 400 litre/106 gallon tank, where mixing of caustic is performed by circulation with a diaphragm pump.
Readily mixed caustic soda can be pumped to the desired tank or mixing line by use of a diaphragm mixing pump, operated by a 3-way ball valve. Field proven air diaphragm pumps are used – suitable for variation of flow.

The caustic mixing unit is designed for an offshore environment, and is engineered to reduce maintenance and service to a minimum.
Great care has been taken to ensure that all relevant offshore health, safety and environment requirements are met.
