The MH VPR 200 is a vertical pipe racker (column racker) designed for stand-building, racking, pick-up and lay-down of tubulars.
The system is controlled from the driller’s cabin, and can be integrated into a fully automated drilling control system, such as Aker Solutions’ DrillView. Anti-collision and other ancillary systems can also be fully integrated with the MH VPR 200.
Based on a universal design, the equipment can be integrated into new-build rigs, or retrofitted to existing rigs. This is further supported by allowing the main movements to be powered by AC drive or hydraulics to best fit the customer’s requirements.
