Key onshore references include Kollsnes/Troll, where Aker Solutions has been involved from the pre-engeneering of Troll phase I in 1990 through the first EPCM contract and several studies continuously up til today; and Aukra/Ormen Lange, focusing on a subsea to beach solution with conceptual engineering of the onshore gas terminal.
On Melkøya/Snøhvit, the world’s first LNG project in artic climate, Aker Solutions has participated in the execution of all phases of the project from conceptual development through commissioning of the LNG plant. Aker Solutions has also, as main installation contractor, been responsible for the construction and installation work at the Melkøya site. Our workforce at site has been up to 5000 people.
