Aker Solutions' Pusnes academy™ is located in Arendal, Norway, and is designed to meet our customers need for the training of operators and maintenance personnel. It is equipped with modern facilities.
The Pusnes academy™ was founded in January 2009. The academy offers a number of product specific operator courses. These courses are available for our entire product range and include theory, operation, maintenance, trouble-shooting and hands-on experience. The training courses ensure that operators and maintenance personnel have the necessary know-how to safely and correctly operate and maintain all our equipment.
Although our products are designed for long time operation, proper maintenance and service, including replacement of consumable parts, is instrumental in ensuring long-lasting operational equipment that will eliminate vessel downtime and reduce life span cost.
These courses facilitate the day to day work for all maintenance and operating personnel giving you, as the customer, an ultimate return on your investment.
With its scenic surroundings from Tromøy Island in the outskirts of Arendal and top class modern facilities, we are confident that this will be a perfect learning environment. The practical part of the course takes place in our workshop. Courses can also be arranged in other locations on request.
