Sakhalin II
Aker Solutions has constructed and installed two concrete gravity based platforms for the Sakhalin II project. As the project advance into its second phase, all-year drilling and oil and gas production in ice conditions is facilitated by the Lun-A and PA-B platforms.
The two concrete platforms were constructed in Russia in 14 months which was according to scedhule. The project included more than 600 Russian vendors and more than 90% russian labour and materials. The project had 3.6 million manhours without LTI.
