Following the acquisition, Aker owns 17,331,762 shares in AKSO, representing 6.3 percent of the outstanding shares. In addition, Aker owns 70 percent of the shares in Aker Kværner Holding AS, which in turn owns 110,333,615 shares, representing 40.3 percent of the outstanding shares in Aker Solutions. The Norwegian government, through the Ministry of Trade and Industry, owns the remaining 30 percent of Aker Kværner Holding AS.
