Misleading Text in Dagens Næringsliv Story
October 30, 2015Norwegian newspaper Dagens Næringsliv reported today in an article that Aker Solutions "is now removing" as many as 800 positions because of oil companies’ maintenance cuts. This gives the impression that Aker Solutions is introducing new workforce capacity adjustments, which is incorrect.
The figure referred to by the newspaper relates to capacity reductions announced earlier this year and last year by the company.
