Aker Solutions Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. operates as a leading global oil services company that provides engineering services, technologies, product solutions and field-life solutions for the oil and gas industry. The Company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aker Solutions ASA. The Aker Solutions group is organised in a number of separate legal entities. The company was incorporated in 2005 and is based in Port Klang, Pulau Indah.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • To execute and administer HR programs and plans, monitors, evaluates and reports on outcomes and results, assists in establishing goals and objectives

  • To stay informed of trends and changes in requirements, provides guidance and advice on practical application, implements and facilitates changes to work methods / processes / procedures

  • Follows-up to ensure programs are beneficial to the health and safety of personnel, and reports results and outcomes

  • To setup and download the training database in Training Management System (TMS) through; collating all the previous training records, input in standard template, upload in TMS, check to ensure all uploaded data are accurate, manage & monitor team leaders, cell controllers, or assigned personnel to ensure all OJT records have been updated/ uploaded in TMS

  • To handle the recruitment of Technical Graduate program (TGP) by screening all the CVs received, shortlisted it, arrange face to face interview and assessment, preparation of offer letters and on-boarding process

  • To participate in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings

  • To assist department in carrying out various human resources program and procedures for all company employees

Qualifications and Personal Qualities:

  • Minimum a degree or diploma in Human Resources Management, or

  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in HR field or any similar combination of education & experience

  • Able to work under 3 months contract

  • Have recruitment experience, knowledge in training and excel software

  • Adaptable to changes in dynamic environment

  • Diplomacy in handling diverse employee relations issues

  • Strong local HR practices and regulations knowledge

  • Capable of accomplishing results with minimum supervision

  • Ethical, resourcefulness, self-motivated, and self-starter

  • IT literate
