Our office at Stord is now looking for a Engineer NDT Level 2  to help us in our mission to #Powerthechange.

What will you be doing?

  • Perform NDT in accordance with the requirements and report this in MIPS
  • Approve or disapprove the welding quality or surface finish defined in the acceptance criteria for the relevant method.
  • Be familiar with the relevant requirements in the procedures, drawings and welding procedures.
  • Implement other NDT methods as additional control if doubt about indications.
  • Communicate with NDT level 3 if any doubt about results.
  • Handle drawings and documentation.
  • Report status in MIPS, documentation must be returned to the coordinator
  • Perform other tasks as assigned from the Discipline lead – NDT

We think you should have:

  • Relevante Apprenticeship in non-destructive testing
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Approved as NDT Inspector according to ISO 9712, level 2
  • Demonstrate real commitment to HSSE performance by taking personal ownership to the Aker Solutions values and zero-incident philosophy.
  • Quality awareness and continual improvement of work processes, products and on a personal level shall always be in focus
  • Good communication skills
