To support our journey, we are looking for Structural Integrity Specialists, at all levels, to join the Marine Structures and Riser group.Our Marine Structures and Risers team specializes in extending the operational life of offshore structures through advanced engineering solutions. 

Our department is responsible for supporting the continued operation of over 50 installations on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS). A major part of our work involves Structural Integrity Management, which includes:

• Data management: Collecting and updating data on weights, structural configuration (condition and modifications), and changes to installations.
• Assessing changes to installations from modifications, environmental specifications, codes, and new understanding.
• Conducting damage assessments using fracture mechanics, structural re-analysis, and sensitivity calculations.
• Proposing activities to maintain structural integrity, such as inspections, monitoring, and reinforcements.
• Demonstrating structural integrity through defining barriers, performance standards, risk matrix population, and structural classification.

As a key member of the team, you will:

• Perform and supervise Risk-Based Inspection planning for different types of offshore structures.
• Assess degradation mechanisms and their influence on structural integrity.
• Use the latest standards and practices in inspection planning and structural health monitoring.
• Perform detail design and calculations for modifications, upgrades, and lifetime extensions.
• Participate in concept studies and project execution for maintenance and modification projects.
• Collaborate across disciplines in various projects.
• Engage in diverse tasks and responsibilities related to Structural Integrity Management
• Have the opportunity for offshore/site surveys.

• Higher technical education within structural, mechanical, material, or marine engineering (BSc/MSc or equivalent).
• Good knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the offshore industry.
• Initiative-taking ability and flexibility in approach to work.
• Accuracy and organizational skills, with a service-minded attitude.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong team collaboration skills.
• Fluency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
