To support our journey, we are looking for a Dynamic Process Simulations & Flow Assurance Specialist to join the team. 

The primary location will be Bergen, with Oslo and Trondheim as potential alternatives.

You will join a team of experienced engineers who leverage their diverse knowledge, skills, and insights to optimize processes and drive energy transition initiatives across low-carbon oil and gas, offshore wind, CCUS, and hydrogen sectors.

• Perform integrated dynamic modeling and advanced process control of oil & gas and CO2 processing facilities, spanning from early phase concepts to major modification projects
• Perform flow assurance analyses and simulations of oil & gas production systems and along the CO2 value chain
• Develop and implement operational scenarios and strategies for safe design, modification and operation of new and existing processing facilities
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure process and flow assurance considerations are integrated into overall facility design
• Conduct assessments on existing production systems and recommend modifications to optimize production

• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Experience in oil & gas and CO2 processing technologies
• Excellent understanding of process control systems and instrumentation
• Proficiency in process simulation software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) and other decarbonization technologies is an advantage
• Ability to lead and coordinate multidiscipline activities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
