Your role as an Early Phase Developer within Operational Phase Services

Our Operational Phase Services team is a cornerstone of our mission, serving as trusted guides for customers navigating the complex landscape of existing energy assets and their transition towards sustainability. We're dedicated to optimizing existing assets for improved efficiency and reduced environmental impact, extending the operational life of critical infrastructure, and developing strategies to integrate renewable and low-carbon technologies into existing operations. 

Our work involves conducting studies to enhance asset performance, adapt to evolving energy market demands, and provide expert guidance on regulatory compliance and future-proofing assets.

To support our growth, we are looking for Early Phase Developers who have passion and expertise in the following aeras. You can be based in either Fornebu / Oslo, Stavanger, Bergen, or Trondheim. 

What will you be doing?

Process Systems

Our team designs innovative process systems for both traditional and renewable energy projects, with a focus on optimizing existing operational assets. We enhance efficiency, reduce emissions, and improve sustainability through advanced simulations and modeling, ensuring that operational facilities remain competitive and environmentally responsible throughout their lifecycle.

Rotating Equipment We specialize in optimizing rotating equipment for diverse energy applications, particularly in operational contexts. Our work extends equipment life, improves performance across oil & gas and renewable sectors, and supports the transition to sustainable energy production. We focus on enhancing the reliability and efficiency of existing equipment while planning for future upgrades and replacements.

Layout

We create efficient and safe layouts for energy facilities, integrating new technologies with existing infrastructure. Our designs optimize space utilization and equipment placement, enhancing sustainability and operational efficiency. For operational assets, we specialize in reconfiguring layouts to accommodate new equipment, improve processes, and meet evolving regulatory requirements.

Construction and installation methods

We develop and implement cutting-edge construction and installation techniques for offshore and onshore energy projects, with a particular emphasis on operational asset modifications and upgrades. Our focus is on reducing environmental impact, improving safety, and facilitating the seamless integration of renewable technologies with existing energy infrastructure, all while minimizing disruption to ongoing operations.

We think you should have:

  • 5-10 years of hands-on practical experience in relevant areas, gained through early-phase projects and/or consultancy scopes.
  • Proven track record of applying analytical and problem-solving skills to guide clients towards optimal, commercially viable solutions.
  • Big picture thinking with ability to synthesize past work, current client needs, and evolving techno-commercial landscapes.
  • Innovative approach to tools, methods, and technological advancements, driven by curiosity and creativity.
  • Skilled in articulating complex ideas clearly, both in written and visual formats.
  • Passion and drive to seek out efficient solutions and challenge traditional ways of working.
