Our Construction group in St. John's, NL is now looking for a temporary Offshore Execution Lead who will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of an offshore hookup scope.

What will you be doing?

  • This role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, ensuring project objectives are met, and maintaining high safety and quality standards. As well as, working closely with offshore stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and offshore work group teams, to ensure successful project completion.
  • Accountable for safe and efficient performance of the offshore hook-up work scope ensuring work and priorities are met with regards to HSE, quality and schedule.
  • Lead and manage offshore project execution, ensuring adherence to project plans, safety standards, and quality requirements.
  • Monitor offshore project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee the performance of offshore contractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Develop comprehensive offshore project execution plans, including scope, schedule, cost, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment and integration of offshore project activities.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop offshore project team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to the offshore team members.

We think you should have:

  • Technical diploma with a minimum 10 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Must have Offshore Construction Supervisory experience in a multi-discipline environment;
  • Strong knowledge of offshore construction, engineering, and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel to offshore project sites as required
  • Must complete mandatory safety training and meet qualifications required for work offshore;
  • Must have understanding of local safety and industry regulations.
