Our Structure, Marine & Architect department is now looking for a Department Manager for our LifeCycle segment. Location: Stavanger

What will you be doing?

  • You will join a dedicated and supportive team and learn `how we work´ as you go
  • You will take an active role in the shaping- and executing of the strategic direction of Life Cycle, both locally and across locations in Norway and globally.
  • As a co-creator you will be responsible for identifying and developing the required competence and flexible workforce, including the development of leaders and professional experts.
  • You will be the line manager for the employees in the department; this includes areas such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, development, reward, succession, talent management, sick leave prevention and follow-up, change processes and build people capability
  • You will be responsible for ensuring optimized resource allocation and utilization
  • Support the development and execution of professional networks to secure knowledge sharing, standardization and experience transfer across the segment and company.
  • Training will be provided, and you will receive a mentor to guide you while developing your skills

We think you should have:

  • Ability to inspire others, drive change and lead with integrity
  • Master or Bachelor degree – relevant experience may compensate if other formal background
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience, e.g., discipline lead, engineering management or other relevant managerial experience
  • Good understanding of the relevant department’s profession and project execution is an advantage
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Scandinavian languages is an advantage.
  • Excellent people and collaboration skills with the ability to drive change
  • Curious mind and eager to learn, explore and challenge the status quo
