  • Design & Optimization Support: Assist in FEED design, optimization studies, lifecycle costing, and analysis to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Regulatory Education & Best Practices: Educate teams on regulatory requirements and establish best practices to mitigate compliance issues early in the design process.
  • Compliance Leadership: Lead validation, verification, and certification activities across the entire project lifecycle, including procurement, construction, and commissioning.
  • Collaboration & Regulation Monitoring: Collaborate with third-party certification agencies and stay updated on relevant regulations and standards for Aker Solutions’ products and markets.
  • Compliance Maintenance & Standardization: Monitor and enhance existing compliance setups and standardize pressure equipment delivery for HVDC and Oil & Gas projects.
  • Technical Support & Safeguarding: Support detailed design development, provide technical input for regulatory requirements, and ensure the safety and compliance of pressure equipment systems.

We think you should have:

  • Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field; must be a Chartered Engineer.
  • Core Knowledge & Design Skills: Proficiency in process, marine, and utility systems; strong understanding of piping and pressure vessel design, material behavior, and relevant regulations (e.g., API, ASME, DNV).

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Skilled in working with cross-functional teams and managing multi-company project deliveries.
  • Relationship Building: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with business and functional leaders.
  • Integrity & Ethics: High standards of personal integrity and ethics.
  • Project Management & Communication: Competent in project management, with the ability to prioritize, work independently, and explain complex topics to various stakeholders.
