Our DigiTech Construction team at Fornebu is now looking for a Graduate Full Stack Developer/Data Scientist.

If you are a graduate 2025, you will be a part of Aker Solutions’ graduate program 2025. This will give you the opportunity to build a professional network, meet fellow graduates from various locations, and visit our headquarters as well as one of our yards. 

What will you be doing?

As a Graduate Data Scientist / Full Stack Developer, you will play a crucial role in our team by combining your expertise in data analysis and full stack development to create and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient solutions. This position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with limited professional experience to grow their skills in a supportive and collaborative environment together with expert individuals within relevant fields.

Data Scientist responsibilities:

  • Create, test and implement Machine Learning Algorithms and Mathematical Optimalization Models into visual data analytics environments
  • Evaluate model performance and fine-tune parameters to improve accuracy
  • Data analysis of big data models from ongoing and historical projects
  • Collect, clean, and preprocess data from our Datawarehouse and various source systems
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover insights and patterns

Full Stack Developer responsibilities:

  • Backend & Frontend Web application development and maintenance using modern frameworks and tech stacks
  • Stay updated on new technology, tech stacks and give strategic advisory
  • Follow-up end-users for ongoing software projects
  • Implement solutions and software into corporate IT Architecture
  • Build and maintain component libraries for various frameworks

We think you should have:

  • Bachelor / - or Master of Science or higher education
  • Generally good IT knowledge – ability to make use of new tools
  • Great communicative and social skills
    • Fluent Norwegian both oral and written
    • Good English capabilities both oral and written
  • Structured and systematic
  • Proactive, analytic, holistic and solution oriented
  • Excellent co-operative skills
