Our Fabrication Team at Stord Yard is now looking for a Factory Method Planner who will work closely with Fabrication Manager for Stord Yard.

What will you be doing?

  • Responsibility for having an overview of capacity in all areas of Fabrication at Stord Yard, applies to both manning and area
  • Responsible for the preparation of plans for fabrication based on the projects' master plans
  • Work closely with management team in Fabrication towards towards a detailed method based on the projects' main method philosophy
  • Work closely with method managers in the early phase of projects to adapt fabrication methods and optimize splitting so that fabrication can be optimized with regards to fabrication friendtly design
  • Work closely with those responsible for preparing project plans in the early phase to optimize the flow through the fabrication
  • Together with the management team in Fabrication, set priorities to achieve an optimal flow in fabrication areas for all ongoing projects

We think you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree within engineering and/or administration. Long and relevant experience may compensate for a lack of formal higher education
  • More than 5 years of experience within Construction, Planning or Engineering management
  • Relevant experience from tenders within fabrication processes or similar
  • Knowledge of methods and planning activities related to prefabrication
  • Basic knowledge of relevant competence certificates, governmental requirements and standards
  • Good oral and written Norwegian and English language skills
  • Strong co-operation skills with a process-oriented and commercial mindset
  • Change management skills, creative and systematic
