Our office at Stord is now looking for a Quality Control Insulation Discipline Lead  to help us in our mission to #Powerthechange.

What will you be doing?

  • Assist the QC team in the preparation of ITP (Inspection and Test Plan) and IPS (Insulation Procedure Specification).
  • Monitor and perform testing during the implementation of the ITP.
  • Ensure a clear understanding of the project requirements, including client and regulatory codes, standards, and procedures.
  • Attend QC project meetings.
  • Act as an examiner during site testing, or approve representatives.
  • Participate in client audits as a discipline auditee and as a discipline expert in the audit team when required.
  • Establish the correct manpower and competence according to the project, and execute as one team.
  • Ensure that software, IT systems, and inspection equipment are available.
  • Review subcontractors' governing documents for compliance when required.
  • Seek continual improvement of work processes and products within your area of responsibility, such as initiating the need for verification/audit.
  • Customize and maintain governing documentation for the discipline.
  • Comply with all client and regulatory codes, standards, and procedures in the execution of work.

We think you should have:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or be a technician with relevant skills.
  • Relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
  • More than five years of relevant experience and leadership.
  • Preferably Frosio Level III.
  • Fluent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong work ethic and proactive attitude
