Our Yard in Egersund is now looking for more people, this time an Electrical Authority.

• Manage and execute the overall responsibility for all electrial, instrument, telecom and Ecom installation work within New Build projects in Egersund, and other Aker Solutions yards in Norway
• Be the electrical company's most important person to ensure that the company delivers electrical and fire-proof electrical systems
• Professionally responsible for all EIT work within Construction and new building and performed according to laws and regulations. This involve High and Low voltage electrical, Instrumentation, Telecom & Ecom activities
• Mapping of competence in the company, as well as planning and implementation of necessary competence development

• Higher education and have passed your own test administered by the Directorate for Civil Protection and Emergency Planning or authorized by the Directorate
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience with work or electrical engineering in offshore oil & gas project execution
• Good knowledge of rules/regulations, standards and preferably the company's technical requirements
• These Include: NORSOK, NEK, Client codes and standards, HS&E Regulations, IEC Directives and Atex
• Be a role model for the employees by showing how it is desired that the employees should act to create good attitudes and professional pride
• Create a good electrical professional environment with respect for the regulations the company must comply with
• Understanding how the business can be improved through digitalisation, data can be visualised, interpreted, and used for recommendations and decision making
• Solid command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Strong work ethics and proactive attitude
• Available for travelling and re-location in periods during project phases
