Our team in Aberdeen are looking for a Project Controls Manager to based at AIBP office in Dyce, Aberdeen.  

What will you be doing?

  • Deliver the function of Project Services to the project or group of projects.
  • Obtain detailed knowledge of the contract.
  • Evaluate mechanisms of the Contract and propose strategies for optimising income and minimising risks, liabilities and expenditures.
  • Ensure that all changes in scope of work/contract are approved by Client. Evaluate the contractual basis for requests for changes to the contract towards Client based on internal project requirements and from sub-contractors or suppliers. Ensure that all estimates are reviewed before issued to Client.
  • Negotiate contractual matters such as interpretation of Contract,
  • Negotiate requirements for estimation, planning, cost control, document control, invoicing and reporting with the Client.
  • Ensure that essential mechanisms of the contract are clear and understood in the project organisation.
  • Provide comprehensive planning, cost control, change control, analysis and reporting against agreed project budgets.
  • Client liaison on all scheduling and commercial related matters, including contract compliance & change request approvals.

  • Demonstrable experience of planning and commercial management in the oil and gas industry.
