Do you want to play a role in solving global energy challenges for future generations?

At Aker Solutions we are committed to helping the energy industry and broader society #PowerTheChange towards a low-carbon future.

We are changemakers and problem solvers with more than 180 years of experience. Our ambitions are high. By 2030, renewables and low-carbon solutions for oil and gas will make up two-thirds of our business. Do you want to be a part of driving the transition?

Are you passionate about creating engaging and effective learning experiences within the competency area Cyber security?

We are looking to strengthen our IT & Cyber security team with a new member who shares our passion for cyber security, developing people and our business – and who wants to contribute to ensuring we reach our purpose of inspiring our employees to learn and grow. The Senior Learning Design Specialist will lead the skill area of cyber security upskilling, where strong communication and networking skills will be important.

We are now looking for a Senior Learning Design Specialist – Cyber Security Focus

What will you be doing?

  • Lead the skill area of cyber security upskilling, providing strategic direction and expertise.
  • Interact with and guide colleagues in the business and HR to translate cybersecurity needs into relevant learning interventions.
  • Collaborate with and guide subject matter experts, project managers, and other stakeholders to create engaging and effective cybersecurity learning interventions.
  • Develop and tailor IT and OT security training programs, including role-based and AI phishing training.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Organizational Development and IT & Cyber security teams to design innovative cyber security learning solutions for all employees – including both learning on the job and formal learning.
  • Utilize modern learning tools and technologies to enhance the cyber security learning process.
  • Design and develop cyber security learning solutions that align with the business needs and our learning strategy.
  • Apply learning design principles, methodologies, and tools to ensure quality and consistency of the cyber security learning solutions.
  • Use data and feedback to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of the cyber security learning solutions and propose improvements.

We think you should have:

  • Passion and experience within people development and culture building – especially in leading a cyber security skill area.
  • Experience in developing creative learning solutions with a good blend of classroom, online, and on-the-job learning.
  • Experience in translating business demand for development of “hard & soft-skills” into effective learning interventions.
  • Hands-on experience in how to ensure adoption and utilization of online learning in organizations.
  • Structured and solutions-oriented approach to work.
  • Good business understanding and collaboration skills working across cultures and geographies.
  • Knowledge of learning design theories, models, and best practices, such as ADDIE, Bloom's taxonomy, etc.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • A creative and innovative mindset, with the ability to adapt to changing needs and contexts.
  • 3 - 5 years relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in both Norwegian and English, with the ability to communicate complex issues effectively to all levels of employees

More reasons to work with us:

  • Professional development and excellent career opportunities with the chance to work on a wide variety of projects ranging from oil and gas, renewables (carbon capture, hydrogen, and offshore wind) to aqua culture
  • A healthy work-life balance with flexible working conditions throughout the different phases of your life journey
  • Competitive pay and benefits with excellent pension and insurance schemes as well as private health services provided by Aker Care
  • Access to welfare club with free gym facilities, sports equipment hire and cabins for rent in the mountains and by the sea
  • Possibility to work remotely/from home 1-3 days per week
