We cover early phase facility design for all markets, from complex onshore facilities integrating state-of-the-art licensed technologies to offshore facilities for low carbon oil and gas production, CO2 injection and offshore wind farms.
Early phase design encompasses all technical areas of expertise for conceptual facility design, extending into economic assessment to ensure that all critical drivers are addressed. Our experts provide guidance and support covering technical safety and HSE in design, process, mechanical, layout, structural, electrical, automation, scheduling, costing and economics.
In addition to a strong track record in oil and gas, hydrogen and derivatives, our team has more than 30 years of experience in handling CCUS and advanced gas technology. We work together as one integrated team across relevant areas of expertise, providing our customers with the multi-disciplined competence they need across energy and decarbonization projects.
Our front-end service offering is underpinned by proven fit-for-purpose methodologies, databases, tool kits and study management excellence. Our global team of customer-oriented study and project managers have a rich multi-discipline understanding, early phase concept development expertise and full lifecycle knowledge.
We work closely with our customers to understand their specific drivers, establish philosophies for HSSE, operations, maintenance, logistics and project execution. Whenever relevant, we include experts from the larger Aker Solutions organization to utilize experience from recent project execution, thereby ensuring the conceptual design is adapted to technology, supply chain, logistics and construction capacities. We use in-house methodologies and tools for value improvement, to reduce costs and improve value.
Floating solutions is a key area for Entr. Our engineers and naval architects help our customers tackle technical and commercial challenges of all types, whether designing first-of-a-kind projects or optimizing well-proven concepts to maximize value.
Our floater and marine technology team provides front end engineering and advanced analysis services across the technology spectrum including semi-submersibles, tension leg platforms, spars, floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessels as well as floaters for offshore wind and offshore aquaculture with corresponding mooring, cables, and risers. Aker Solutions designed and built most of the floating infrastructure on the NCS.
