Signy Elde Vefring to take on role as EVP for Strategy and Technology
May 29, 2024Aker Solutions is pleased to announce Signy Elde Vefring as our new EVP for Strategy & Technology, a chance in our Executive Management Team that reflects how digital transformation and technology is an integral part of our strategic agenda, positioning us for a competitive edge in the market.
Signy Elde Vefring, who is now EVP Digitech, will expand her portfolio as she takes on the role of EVP Strategy and Technology from 1 June.
This new structure will integrate the two functions DigiTech with Strategy, Portfolio and Sustainability, along with the Chief Technology Officer mandate.
Our goal is to pivot our business towards renewables and energy transition solutions, aiming for these to constitute two-thirds of our revenue by 2030. Technology and digitalization are crucial to achieving this.
Signy Elde Vefring has been a member of our Executive Management Teams since 2020 as EVP Digitech, with prior experience in strategic and digital roles at Aker BP and Boston Consulting Group.
