We leverage existing expertise and capabilities globally (i.e., OEM, 3D printing factories) and always aim to deliver the best part at the right price with the shortest lead-time. We can also provide dedicated 3D printing centers on site – all depending on part requirements and project nature.

Our own EcoLense LCA service allows us to map, evaluate and compare emission profiles not only to track decarbonization, but also to enable decision making on environmental footprint while providing results that can be used in emissions. reporting

What Aker Solutions can provide

From targeted work to full-system integration, we offer the following.

On-demand assessment: 

• We enable case surfacing through process integration regardless of project nature (FEED, design, modification and maintenance)
• We evaluate additive manufacturing opportunities as whole or part of the solution (10 criteria)
• We prepare the documentation for engineering and 3D printing together with a business case

Engineering:

• We develop, prototype, optimize, procure 3D models
• We create the documentation to ensure correct printing and qualification of the part

Procurement and supply-chain:

• We integrate digital inventories regardless of the preferred model (i.e., open competitive bidding, closed value chain)
• We take charge of 3D printing following on-demand assessment recommendation together with post-treatment and part qualification

Installation and commissioning:

• We make the part available and can, according to the agreement scope, install and commission it

We update all systems to ensure the part can easily be accessed and reordered.
