Our Safety and Environment department in Stavanger is looking for a Specialist Engineer - Technical Safety to join our team. 

What will you be doing?

  • Be a part of a highly qualified Technical Safety Engineering team
  • Be involved in a wide variety of projects ranging from Front End studies to M&M Projects in addition to Major Modification Projects
  • Assessment of risk level for different solutions including associated qualitative / quantitative analysis
  • Be responsible for Safety design reviews such as HAZID, Safety Assessment, ALARP Assessment etc.
  • Ensure that relevant regulations and standards are known, understood, and followed in the project
  • Ensure that work within discipline activities is performed in accordance with the project execution model for the assigned project
  • Multidiscipline collaboration internally and with clients
  • Be involved in the development of Safety & Environment department's expertise

We think you should have:

  • Bachelor or Master degree with minimum 10 years of experience
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant Norwegian regulations and standards
  • Drive to solve the hardest challenges for our customers with optimism and determination
  • Curiosity about and ability to utilize new technology and digitalization
  • A commercial mindset with good communication skills written/spoken in both Norwegian and English
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
