The Life Cycle segment takes care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production, Life Cycle ensure safe operations. We focus on optimizing field life solutions, driven by decarbonization and environmentally sound offerings.

Our department in Stavanger is now looking for a Young Professional Mechanical Engineer to help us in our mission to #powerthechange. . 

What will you be doing?

  • As a graduate in 2025 in Aker Solutions, you will be a part of a graduate program. This includes professional network, meet other graduates across locations and visit to our headquarter and one of our yards
  • You will be involved in a wide variety of projects ranging from smaller Front End/Entr Studies to Major Modification Projects and various Specialist Services
  • You will be part of a great team that works within;
  • Equipment design and development of procurement packages in close corporation with equipment suppliers
  • Package Responsible Engineer role ( PRE - Team lead) within procurement packages
  • As PRE - coordinate with projects disciplines and responsible for supplier follow-up activities
  • Prepare for installation method as well as participate in testing and installation of equipment
  • Quality Input and control of technical data and job preparation
  • Read and understand technical requirements given in NORSOK Standards, EU Directive and International Standards, including national law.

  • You have recently graduated, or you are about to graduate from your final year of studies.
  • Being proactive and have the ability to take initiative are great personal skills that will be appreciated in this role
  • You have a high ability to learn and great interest for new technology and digitalization.
  • Strong work ethics and a proactive attitude
  • A commercial mindset, good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • If you like to plan, manage and execute tasks you will thrive in this role
