What will you be doing?
Accountable for on-time, high quality and cost-effective application(s) services.
Leads both inhouse + managed capacity teams towards application strategy and roadmap.
Point of escalation/contact for product owners / segment counterparts addressing business needs
Reports into application portfolio manager and represents applications in overall portfolio strategy, governance and delivery
Key responsibilities -
- Drives agile delivery model in delivering application services
- Coordinate the effort required to solve the tasks in the Product Backlog
- Direct team to manage incident/product backlog effectively to ensure that are solved within the SLA
- Continuously evaluate applications for technical upgrades, compliances, decommissioning
- Responsible of onboarding of new applications - quality, architecture, security, knowledge transfer
- Propose changes and enhancements to the Product Owner and Application Portfolio Owner
- Facilitate cross skilling in the Team to reduce the dependency on individuals and increase job satisfaction
- Manage resources to meet skills needed to deliver applications per SLA and agreed governance
- Provide +/- cost/effort inputs and insights t
We think you should have:
Education: Engineering/computer science degree, any mechanical engineering background will be preferable.
Experience: 14-18 years experience in Application mgmt. and service support delivery in Engineering 3D CAD solutions.
Skills: SolidWorks, SAP PLM, 3D Design, ServiceNow, Microsoft Azure, IT application mgmt. & delivery
