Are you passionate about protecting critical infrastructure and driving operational excellence in cybersecurity? Aker Solutions is looking for an experienced Security Operations Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be the glue between our security operations center (SOC), the IT operations and the internal security organization, ensuring that our defenses are always one step ahead of emerging threats. The SecOps Lead will report to the CISO.

• Responsible for overall IT security operations in terms of strategy, planning, and execution
• Day-to-day follow up of status, vulnerabilities and continuous improvement for both infrastructure and application portfolio
• Lead resolution of cybersecurity incidents in multi-vendor set up as a part Crisis Emergency Response Team (CERT)
• Collaborate with our Security Operations Center (SOC), ensuring rapid detection, response, and remediation of security incidents.
• Lead a team of internal/external resources, guiding them in proactive threat hunting, monitoring, and incident management.
• Develop and implement security operation processes, playbooks, and best practices that enhance our overall security posture.
• Manage and optimize security tools, technologies, and systems to ensure efficient monitoring and response capabilities.
• Collaborate with other teams to assess and mitigate vulnerabilities, drive continuous improvement, and align operations with our broader security strategy.

• Proven experience in managing IT security operations, including strategy, planning, and execution of security projects and day-to-day operation.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, understanding of incident detection and response methodologies, and the ability to manage complex incidents under pressure.
• Commitment to staying updated with the latest security trends, technologies, and threat landscapes.
• Proficiency in security technologies and tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection) with strong understanding of network security, application security, and cloud security.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GIAC, which demonstrate a commitment to professional development and expertise in the field.
