The Life Cycle segment takes care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production, Life Cycle ensure safe operations. Our department in Trondheim is now looking for a Young Professional Piping Engineer to help us in our mission to #powerthechange

What will you be doing?

If you are a graduate 2025, you will be a part of Aker Solutions graduate program 2025. This will give you the opportunity to build a professional network, meet fellow graduates from various locations, and visit our headquarters as well as one of our yards.

You will be assigned to one of these roles:

Piping design and area layout:

  • Design and 3D modelling of piping systems
  • Ensure that interfaces towards other disciplines are handled in an efficient way
  • Generate drawings and work package for fabrication and installation
  • Perform offshore and onshore surveys

Pipe support design and calculation:

  • Design and 3D modelling of pipe supports
  • Calculation of pipe supports
  • Generate drawings and work package for fabrication and installation
  • Perform offshore and onshore surveys

Pipe stress:

  • Analyze pipe stress on critical lines
  • Calculate loads for pipe supports
  • Production of stress isometric drawings
  • Strength calculation of flanges
  • Perform offshore and onshore surveys

We think you should have:

  • You have recently graduated, or you are about to graduate from your final year of studies (BSc or MSc) within relevant area.
  • You have a high ability to learn and great interest for new technology and digitalization.
  • A commercial mindset and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills in Norwegian and English.
